Andrew’s Example

The New Testament does not tell us a great deal about the apostle Andrew, but the key details that are shared present a wonderful example of a follower of Jesus. Once Andrew found the Messiah, the first thing he did was went to get his brother, Simon Peter, and bring him to Christ. But he didn’t do it just for his brother–whether it was at the feeding of the 5,000 or on the day of Pentecost, Andrew made a career of bringing others to Christ, and that attitude appears to be the primary reason Jesus selected him as one of the 12.
