For what are we thankful? How often do we express such thanks, whether to God or to someone else? Ingratitude is a problem in our society today, much like it was for Israel during the Old Testament and in Jesus’ day. The story of the 10 lepers in Lk. 17:11-19 illustrates this point as Jesus asks where the other 9 lepers were when only one returned to thank Him. Today, Jesus heals us from our sins and is deserving of our gratitude daily.
