As we begin a new year, it is worthwhile to look back at the previous year and note how well we did in our spiritual lives and where we may be able to make improvements. To be pleasing to God, we must continue to grow, which could be measured in a variety of ways. Perhaps in adding more “fruit of the Spirit” to our lives (Gal. 5:22-26) or in putting away more of the old man and putting on more of Christ (Eph. 4:22-32). Do an honest self-evaluation and see what successes you may have had in 2021 and where we can do better in 2022.
